The story behind the name….
TOwn CEntre MAnagement (TOCEMA) has first been tackled in a European project launched in 2000-2001 under the INTERREG IIC programme, bringing together Belgium, France and the United-Kingdom.
From the status of coordinator during this first step, the AMCV became lead partner of the second project enlarging the scope of town centre management to the rest of Europe, between 2005 and 2007, under INTERREG IIIC.
